Hero Super Splendor Price, Specifications, Features : Power comes from an all-new fuel-injected BS6 compliant motor. The 124.cc unit delivers 10.87PS at 7500rpm and 10.6Nm at 6000rpm. That is 0.41PS and 0.4Nm less than the BS4 Super Splendor. As well as, Hero claims the new motor is more fuel-efficient and reliable now. Furthermore, The other major addition is a new 5-speed gearbox. Its extra 5th gear should help the motor run more relaxed at highway speeds. The Hero Super Splendor BS6 gets a new diamond type frame. While it retains the same suspension setup, the forks offer 15mm longer travel while the twin shock absorbers have 7.5mm longer travel. Besides it, At 180mm, ground clearance is up by 18.3mm.and kerb weight has dropped by 3kg to 122kg now. However, the 799mm seat height is 9mm taller than before and fuel tank capacity has dropped from the previous 13-litres to 12-litres now. It also gets a wider 18-inch tyre for better stability. For braking, the Super Splendor BS6 gets an optional 240mm front disc brake and 130mm rear drum brake. It gets 18-inch alloy wheels.
