TVS Raider Bike Price, Specifications, Features : TVS has launched its all-new 125cc motorcycle, the Raider 125, at Rs 77,500 (ex-showroom, Delhi). The Raider marks the company’s return to the 125cc segment as it aims to take on the premium market players.

TVS Raider Specifications

Powering the Raider 125 is a 124.8cc single-cylinder 3-valve engine that only shares its bore and stroke figure with the NTorq 125. It is a completely new engine with a five-speed transmission. This motor makes 11.38PS @ 7500rpm and 11.2Nm @ 6000rpm, making the Raider one of the most powerful bikes in the segment. There are two ride modes, Power and Eco, as well, the first for a 125cc motorcycle in the country. You get a split single-downtube frame that is propped up by a telescopic fork and monoshock. 17-inch alloy wheels come shod with grippy TVS Remora tyres. One can opt between a 240mm disc or a 130mm drum brake at the front end while the 130mm rear drum brake and CBS are standard across all trims.

TVS Raider Design

At first glance, the LED face seems quite familiar, almost Bumblebee-like. With its bikini fairing, it is quite in line with TVS’ sporty naked design language. The tank is large and chunky with edgy tank extensions. The sharp side panels and split seat further drive home its sporty looks. However, the tail looks a bit out of place and a bit underwhelming.

TVS Raider Features

While the headlight and taillight are LEDs, TVS is still using bulbs for the turn indicators for the Raider 125. You get a negative LCD console that has basic data, like a speedo, tachometer, trip meter and a fuel gauge, as well as some really useful stuff, like low fuel trip meter, gear position indicator, clock, fuel efficiency indicator and the ride mode you are in. TVS will launch a variant of the Raider with a 5-inch colour TFT screen with its SmartXonnect Bluetooth module in a couple of months’ time.

The price of TVS Raider starts at Rs. 78,800 and goes upto Rs. 90,989. TVS Raider is offered in 2 variants – Drum and the top variant Raider Disc which comes at a price tag of Rs. 90,989.
